Here´s how it works. It is normally played on evenmoney bets at the roulette table (red, black etc). Bet on the even money section of the table (eg red or black, ) but before you do, write down a progression of numbers (say 1 to 5). Bet the sum of the first and last numbers in your progression, on the red for example- so 5 +1 = 6 in our example. If you win, cross out the 5 and the 1 on the progression and then bet the sum of the new 1st and last numbers - so 4 + 2 = 6 again in this example.
If you lose, add the amount of your loss to the end of your progression. So if we lost straight off the bat in our examle above, we´d be adding a 6 onto the end of the row of numbers. Next bet your new outside numbers, and so on. If you manage to croff off all of your numbers, yo have completed a Labouchère and your overall profit will be the sum of all the numbers in your original sequance. At this point, bank your profits or start another sequence. Remeber that your luck might go the other way. in this scenario your list of numbers is going to get longer and longer and your bets will ramp up. Always make a decision before you start the Labouchère (or any other system for that matter), when you are going to pull out. This is basic money management- a stop loss. Decent stock market investors do it and so should you.
A tip: to keep your bets from accelerating too fiercely, add lots of low numbers into your sequence. You might decide on 1,1,2,2,2 for example. All the best.
