Playtech Announces Q4 Numbers

Playtech casino news. For those of you who like to play the markets as well as the tables, we have some casino finance news for you: Playtech, the software company behind some of the biggest online casino brands on the net has just reported its Q4 numbers.

Online casino, poker and bingo software company Playtech has reported 4th quarter gross income numbers that are up by more than 20% after solid performances from casino, Italian poker and it´s share in the William Hill Online business.

In the 3 months ending 31/12/2009 gross income went up to €38.5m compared with €31.9m in the previous quarter. Total revenue increased 10% to €30.4m.

Casino revenues during Q4 were €20m, up 12% while Poker revenues during the period went up 3% to €8.4m.

Playtech's share of William Hill Online´s profit went up 94% to €8.1m after the brand put in a solid performance in the final quarter of the year.

CEO Mor Weizer said, "Q4 was a solid quarter with increases in all areas. This excellent performance has continued through into the 1st 3 wks of 2010."

Playtech supply the software to some of the best known casinos on the net, such as Bet 365 and Bet Fred. They recently agreed a joint venture with William Hill to run Williiam Hill Online: a strategy that seems to be paying off for them.
